It has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that none of us are bowlers. Not only are we not bowlers, but we are simply ecstatic if we can sling the ball down the lane without it ending up in a gutter. Seriously. Everybody loves to bowl...once you muster up enough energy to make it to the bowling alley. Simply put, it’s a ton of fun. So why cancer? Each one of us has been touched by cancer. A grandparent. Mom or dad. A brother or sister. A friend. And what did we realize? We all live with cancer...and that is what this is all about. We all live with cancer. We just simply wanted to do something....anything. So, that is why bowling and why cancer. Make sense? You’re right. Nothing really makes sense about cancer. But it doesn’t make sense to just sit back and do nothing. So come on, get off the couch, come out for some fun. Pick your ball. And let’s bowl! And do something about cancer...we all live with cancer.
